ABOUT ME
"A life lived for art is never a life wasted." -Macklemore
I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil - even before I could speak or write. Beautiful, accessible, responsive design is my passion.

Education
I earned a bachelor's in sociology from SUNY Geneseo in 2010 and a master's in sociology from University at Buffalo in 2012. I am very passionate about social issues such as racial and gender inequality and accessibility. I spent eight years teaching sociology at various colleges in the area before deciding on a career change - one that would allow me to express my creative side.
Self-Study
I began self-study while under quarantine in 2020. I read all of the classics of design: The Design of Everyday Things, Don't Make Me Think!, and more. I earned a 300 hour certification in HTML and CSS from FreeCodeCamp.org and began writing my own code and building my own websites. I taught myself how to use Invision Studio and Photoshop. I am now saving up for UI/UX bootcamp!
Philosophy
Let me take you on a journey of color, shape, and beauty. Let me show you how good design can also be a work of art. Good design is good for everyone.
